There are several types of anemia that occurs during pregnancy in relation to its cause, the following clinical case has a focus on iron deficiency anemia, which is very common during pregnancy due to the physiological changes of the hematological system in the pregnancy, the main cause is adequate intake or poor absorption of iron. The clinical case concerns a 31-year-old pregnant patient with 32 weeks of gestation, who attended the Gyneo-obstetric emergency area of the Martin Icaza Hospital because she presented a clinical picture characterized by headaches, cold sweating and paleness. Which she is hospitalized to receive treatment and necessary care applying the Nursing Care Process (PAE).es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa anemia es una enfermedad que afecta a la sangre cuando los concentrados de hemoglobina son inferiores de 11gdL, siendo la anemia por deficiencia de hierro la más frecuente encontrada en el embarazo. Clasificación de la anemia: Leve 9 – 11 g/dL, Moderada 7 – 9 g/dL, Grave < 7 g/dL., Existen diversos tipos de anemias que se presenta durante el embarazo en relación a su causa, el siguiente caso clínico tiene un enfoque en la anemia por deficiencia de hierro, la cual es muy común durante el embarazo debido a los cambios fisiológicos del sistema hematológico en el embarazo, la causa principal es la ingesta adecuada o a la mala absorción del hierro. El caso clínico trata de un una paciente gestante de 31 años de edad con 32 semanas de gestación, que acude al área de emergencia Gineco - obstétrico del Hospital Martin Icaza por presentar un cuadro clínico caracterizado de cefaleas, sudoración fría y palidez. La cual es hospitalizada para recibir tratamiento y cuidados necesarios aplicando el Proceso Atención de Enfermería (PAE).es_ES
