| dc.description | The present clinical case is a contribution in the field of health through theoretical and practical knowledge, to act efficiently in the necessary care, identifying problems and needs of the patient, for which the descriptive method was used through data collection Objective and subjective such as physical examination, complementary, analysis and organization for the identification of problems that interfere with the health of the patient, through the Nursing Care Process. In the following clinical case, we present a 56-year-old male patient who came to the Dr. Gustavo Domínguez Hospital when presenting high blood pressure with suspected cerebrovascular accident due to covid-19. Hypertension continues to be a relevant public health problem worldwide, being the main cause of morbidity and mortality and the risk factor with the highest burden attributable to ischemic cardiovascular disease and stroke, there are various factors that contribute to the appearance of hypertension blood pressure such as age, a high sodium intake, diets high in saturated fat, smoking, physical inactivity, the presence of chronic diseases such as obesity, dyslipidemia and diabetes. Having a high relationship with stroke, which is the third cause of death and the first cause of disability. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso clínico es un aporte en el ámbito de la salud a través del conocimiento teórico-práctico, para actuar con eficiencia en los cuidados necesarios identificando problemas y necesidades del paciente, para lo cual se utilizó el método descriptivo por medio de la recolección datos objetivos y subjetivos como examen físico, complementarios, análisis y organización para la identificación de problemas que interfieren con la salud del paciente, mediante el Proceso de Atención de Enfermería. En el siguiente caso clínico presentamos un paciente de sexo masculino de 56 años de edad que acude al Hospital Dr. Gustavo Domínguez, al presentar una presión arterial elevada con sospecha de accidente cerebro vascular a causa del covid-19. La hipertensión arterial continúa siendo un problema de salud pública relevante a nivel mundial, siendo la principal causa de morbimortalidad y el factor de riesgo de mayor carga atribuible para la patología cardiovascular isquémica y accidente cerebro vascular, existen diversos factores que contribuyen a la aparición de hipertensión arterial como la edad, una alta ingesta de sodio, dietas elevadas en grasas saturadas, tabaquismo, inactividad física, presencia de enfermedades crónicas como obesidad, dislipidemia y diabetes. Teniendo una alta relación con el accidente cerebro vascular que es la tercera causa de muerte y la primera causa de discapacidad. | es_ES |
