| dc.description | The objective of this case study is based on the nursing care process in a preschool patient with bacterial pneumonia, who attends the emergency area of the Martin Icaza general hospital in the city Babahoyo, due to hyperthermia of 38.5, Chills, tachypnea, accompanied by a productive greenish cough; Bacterial pneumonia, Staphylococcus aureus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, among others. The application of a nursing care process allows us to provide the necessary nursing care for the correction of altered functional patterns and obtain a favorable evolution, shortly accessing the recovery and rehabilitation of the patient´s health. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de este estudio de caso se basa en el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente pre – escolar con neumonía bacteriana, que acude al área de emergencia del hospital general Martin Icaza de la ciudad de Babahoyo, por presentar hipertermia de 38.5 C, escalofríos, taquipnea, acompañado de tos productiva de aspecto verdosa; la neumonía bacteriana es aquel proceso infeccioso en el parénquima pulmonar causada por bacterias, entre las más comunes Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, entre otros. La aplicación de un proceso de atención de enfermería nos permite brindarle los cuidados de enfermeria necesarios para la corrección de los patrones funcionales alterados y obtener una evolución favorable, accediendo en breve a la recuperación y rehabilitación de la salud del paciente. | es_ES |
