| dc.description | In this degree work, a feasibility study is carried out in order to analyze the importance of the implementation of an electronic billing system in the urban transport units of the city of Cotopaxi. Currently the collection of tickets is done in a traditional way (bills and coins), this fact affects operational aspects (departure intervals, route frequencies, travel time, number of promotions, classification of rates and operating costs) established by the company “LA MANA”. This study is proposed in order to determine the social and economic benefits generated in the Company or the local society. The project focuses on a projective type research, based on a comprehensive level with a mixed source design (documentary and field), using investigative, experimental, qualitative, quantitative and deductive methodology for the collection of data that will serve to analyze and determine the project feasibility. It is concluded that an automated collection system improves the operational aspects of the Company and also generates a positive social impact that would be convenient for the Cotopaxi Mobility Department, on the other hand, it generates a positive economic impact that is convenient for the Company due to its cost implementation that is accessible. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente trabajo de grado se realiza un estudio de factibilidad con el objetivo de analizar la importancia que conlleva la implementación de un sistema de cobro electrónico en las unidades de transporte urbano de la ciudad de Cotopaxi. Actualmente el cobro de pasajes se realiza de forma tradicional (billetes y monedas), éste hecho afecta aspectos operativos (intervalos de salida, frecuencias de ruta, tiempo de viaje, número de ascensos, clasificación de tarifas y costos de operación) que establece la empresa “LA MANA”. Se plantea dicho estudio con el fin de determinar los beneficios sociales y económicos generados en la Empresa o a la sociedad local. El proyecto se enfoca en una investigación de tipo proyectiva, fundamentada a nivel comprensivo con un diseño de fuente mixto (documental y campo), empleando metodología investigativa, experimental, cualitativa, cuantitativa y deductiva para la recolección de datos que servirán para analizar y determinar la factibilidad del proyecto. Se concluye que un sistema de cobro automatizado mejora los aspectos operativos de la Empresa y además genera un impacto social positivo que convendría a la Dirección de Movilidad de Cotopaxi, por otra parte, genera un impacto económico positivo que conviene a la Empresa debido a su costo de implementación que es accesible. | es_ES |
