dc.descriptionIn this degree work, a feasibility study is carried out with the objective of analyzing the wireless network of the cantonal GAD of the city of BABA. Wireless connectivity networks are used in various environments, such as corporate, business premises, and family, which may offer not so good service when browsing, causing a bad experience for those who handle digital information, which is why it is necessary have an optimal connection, having as the main factor vulnerability and inconveniences that connection networks present. In order to reach an optimal resolution of this case study, interviews were conducted with the personnel of the municipal GAD of the Baba canton in several departments, including the TICS, who stated that the problems that the networks currently present in the municipality are due to of the lack of maintenance, that they detect if the network has some type of vulnerability, or if a data flow with more bandwidth is required for the institution. The methodology implemented in this case study was inductive in order to identify the vulnerabilities that allow the malfunctioning of the networks, the observation technique was used to determine if the institution's teams correctly execute the security standards of the networks. Wi-Fi networks by performing a scan to determine the Inssider, threats, vulnerabilities and speed of the network with the Nessus tool.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el presente trabajo de titulación se realiza un estudio de factibilidad con el objetivo de analizar la red inalámbrica de GAD cantonal de la ciudad de BABA. Las redes de conectividad inalámbrica se emplean en varios entornos, como corporativos, locales comerciales, y familiares, las mismas que pueden ofrecer no tan buen servicio a la hora de navegar, ocasionando una mala experiencia para quienes manejan información digital, por lo cual es necesario tener una conexión optima, teniendo como principal factor vulnerabilidad e inconvenientes que presentan las redes de conexión. Para poder llegar a una óptima resolución de este caso de estudio se realizó entrevistas al personal del GAD municipal del cantón Baba en varios departamentos, entre ellos el de las TICS, que manifestó que los problemas que presentas las redes actualmente en el municipio son a causa de la falta de mantenimiento, que detecten si la red tiene algún tipo de vulnerabilidad, o si se requiere un flujo de dato con más ancho de banda para la institución. La metodología implementada en este caso de estudio fue la inductiva con el fin de identificar las vulnerabilidades que permiten el mal funcionamiento de las redes, se utilizó la técnica de la observación para determinar si los equipos de la institución ejecutan correctamente las normas de seguridad de las redes Wi-Fi realizando un escaneo para determinar los Inssider, amenazas, vulnerabilidades y velocidad de la red con la herramienta Nessus.es_ES
