dc.description.abstractLa pandemia del Covid-19 ha generado cambios definitivos en las instituciones de educación, entre ellas están las instituciones de primaria pública que al no estar preparados para la continuidad de sus actividades presencial, se vieron en la obligación de migrar al método virtual para continuar con sus enseñanzas. En la ciudad de Babahoyo las instituciones de educación pública tuvieron que acoger las nuevas formas de enseñanza. Mediante la metodología descriptiva, y la técnica de la encuesta se determinó que las enseñanzas en la modalidad online ha provocado un impacto negativo en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, ya que la mayoría de ellos no cuentan con las herramientas tecnológicas, ni con los conocimientos adecuados para adquirir un buen aprendizaje. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación es necesario recomendar que las instituciones de educación primaria en especial las públicas, fomenten la enseñanza online una vez que culmine la pandemia, utilizando herramientas y mecanismos tecnológicos que los ayude a instruirse en la era digital, para desarrollar su nivel de conocimientos y estar preparados ante una situación similar en un futuro.es_ES
