dc.descriptionThe following clinical case deals with a 57 year old male patient who is diagnosed with cerebral infarction, arterial hypertension and type II diabetes mellitus, this topic was chosen since today the study of chronic non-communicable diseases is vital importance worldwide because they are diseases that affect most of the population. The objectives of this case are to intervene nutritionally to the patient by carrying out a complete nutritional assessment in which it consists of interpreting anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary data, making a personalized eating plan according to their nutritional needs, giving follow-up and monitoring through daily visits and be able to contribute to improving the nutritional status of the patient and thus be able to delay the complications of the disease. The patient was given a timely personalized nutritional intervention, in which a healthy eating plan was developed according to their nutritional needs, in this way it is possible to control the progression of the disease through the correct follow-up and monitoring that was carried out. Finally, it was possible to intervene the patient nutritionally with a correct nutritional evaluation and it was possible to contribute to improving the quality of life of the patient.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl siguiente caso clínico trata un paciente de sexo masculino de 57 años de edad que es diagnosticado con infarto cerebral, hipertensión arterial y diabetes mellitus tipo II, este tema fue elegido ya que hoy en día el estudio de las enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles son de vital importancia a nivel mundial por que son enfermedades que afectan a la mayor parte de la población. Los objetivos de este caso son intervenir nutricionalmente al paciente mediante la realización de una evaluación nutricional completa en la cual consiste en la interpretación de los datos antropométricos, bioquímicos, clínicos y dietéticos, realizar un plan de alimentación personalizado de acuerdo a sus necesidades nutricionales, darle seguimiento y monitoreo a través de las visitas diarias y poder contribuir a mejorar el estado nutricional del paciente y así poder retardar las complicaciones propias de la enfermedad. Al paciente se le realizo una oportuna intervención nutricional personalizada, en la cual se le elaboro un plan de alimentación saludable de acuerdo a sus necesidades nutrimentales, De esta forma se logró controlar el avance de la enfermedad mediante el correcto seguimiento y monitoreo que se le efectuó. Finalmente, se logró intervenir al paciente nutricionalmente con una correcta evaluación nutricional y se pudo contribuir a mejorar la calidad de vida del paciente.es_ES
