dc.descriptionCeliac disease is an autoimmune clinical condition characterized by gluten intolerance in people. This clinical case is about a female patient who is 22 years of age who goes to medical consultation for having symptoms of diarrhea, colic, pain and bloating, to anamnesis states that symptoms were triggered after gastroenteritis, suspected inflammatory bowel disease are sent biochemical tests themselves that test positive for celiac disease, confirming the diagnosis with a biopsy that determined MARSH 1-type celiac disease. The objective of this clinical case is to provide a nutritional plan according to the nutritional and pathological needs of the patient that entails the improvement of symptomatology. Throughout the development it is determined that the patient is in a normal nutritional state, there is no significant weight loss and no nutritional deficiencies, so a diagnosis is established and treatment is provided by a gluten-free nutritional plan, as well as when monitoring for the following 2 weeks, it finally manages to improve the symptomatology described at the beginning.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa enfermedad celíaca es una condición clínica autoinmune que se caracteriza por presentar en las personas intolerancia al gluten. Este caso clínico trata sobre una paciente de sexo femenino con 22 años de edad que acude a consulta médica por presentar síntomas de diarrea, cólicos, dolor y distensión abdominal, a la anamnesis manifiesta que los síntomas se desencadenaron posterior a una gastroenteritis, ante la sospecha de enfermedad intestinal inflamatoria se envían exámenes bioquímicos mismos que dan positivo para enfermedad celíaca, confirmando el diagnóstico con una biopsia que determinó enfermedad celiaca tipo MARSH 1. El objetivo de este caso clínico es brindar un plan nutricional acorde a las necesidades nutricionales y fisiopatológicas de la paciente que conlleve a la mejora de la sintomatología. A lo largo del desarrollo se determina que la paciente se encuentra en un estado nutricional normal, no hay pérdida de peso significativa y carece de deficiencias nutricionales, por lo que se establece un diagnóstico y se brinda tratamiento mediante un plan nutricional libre de gluten, mismo que al realizar el monitoreo correspondiente a las 2 semanas posterior, finalmente logra mejorar la sintomatología descrita al inicio.es_ES
