| dc.description | This clinical case under study deals with a 35-year-old female patient with 28 weeks’ gestation who goes to medical consultation showing headache of several weeks of evolution. You have high blood pressure figures of 145/90mmHg, on suspicion of preeclampsia you are sent a 24-hour proteinuria test, which gave a normal value so preeclampsia is ruled out and you are diagnosed with gestational hypertension. Like every pregnant woman, the patient needs multidisciplinary management that includes nutritional therapy. The goal of this clinical case is to maintain an optimal nutritional status of the 35-year-old female patient with gestational hypertension. During the course of the development of this clinical case, the patient's nutritional status was evaluated and it was determined that their pregnancy began with overweight preconceptional BMI. In view of this and according to its pathological condition, a food plan is prescribed appropriate to the nutritional needs of the patient. This case study is completed by achieving the overall objective and with decreased blood pressure values. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso clínico en estudio trata sobre una paciente de 35 años de edad con 28 semanas de gestación que acude a consulta médica manifestando cefalea de varias semanas de evolución. Presenta cifras de presión arterial elevadas de 145/90mmHg, ante la sospecha de preeclampsia se le envía examen de proteinuria de 24 horas, mismo que dio un valor normal por lo que se descarta preeclampsia y se le diagnostica hipertensión gestacional. Al igual que toda mujer embaraza, la paciente necesita un manejo multidisciplinario que incluya la terapia nutricional. El objetivo de este caso clínico es mantener un estado nutricional óptimo de la paciente de sexo femenino de 35 años con hipertensión gestacional. Durante el transcurso del desarrollo de este caso clínico se evaluó el estado nutricional de la paciente y se determinó que su embarazo inicio con IMC preconcepcional sobrepeso. Ante esto y de acuerdo a su condición fisiopatológica se prescribe un plan alimentario adecuado a las necesidades nutricionales de la paciente. Se concluye este estudio de caso logrando el objetivo general y con disminución de los valores de presión arterial. | es_ES |
