dc.descriptionTOPIC: Urinary tract infections in pregnancy is the presence of pathogenic microorganisms in the urine, either due to infection in the bladder or kidney, among the most common in 80% is Escherichia coli, urinary tract infections have a incidence of 5% to 10% in pregnancy, for this reason it is encouraged to carry out the report of the case of a 25-year-old patient with a 15.5-week pregnancy at the Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. OBJECTIVE: It is proposed to analyze the clinical case of said patient with urinary tract infection that was diagnosed by the clinical picture and urinalysis, presents risk factors that caused the clinical picture. METHODOLOGY: The study is observational, clinical and descriptive. The patient is hospitalized for at least 48 to 72 hours until there is a thermal drop, oral treatment is continued, in case of persistent fever, measures such as volume control, antipyretics, temperature control every 12 hours are used, control of diuresis every 24 hours, control of uterine dynamics every 12 hours, post obstetric evaluation, medical discharge with oral treatment for 14 consecutive days, with urine culture control 1 to 2 weeks after the medical prescription was completed. RESULT AND CONCLUSION: Pregnant woman with urinary tract infection that was managed with Antibiotic therapy and complementary tests, which progressed favorably and medical discharge was prescribed. The patient's management was expectant according to the MSP's Clinical Practice Guideline. Patient with recurrent urinary tract infections and domestic violence that caused vulnerability to said pathology.es_ES

dc.description.abstractTEMA: Las infecciones de vías urinarias en el embarazo es la presencia de microorganismos patógenos en la orina, ya sea por infección en la vejiga o riñón, entre el más común en un 80% es la Escherichia coli, las infecciones de vías urinarias tienen una incidencia del 5% al 10% en el embarazo, por tal motivo se incentiva a realizar el informe del caso de una paciente de 25 años de edad con embarazo de 15.5 semanas en el Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. OBJETIVO: Se propone analizar el caso clínico de dicha paciente con Infección de vías urinarias que fue diagnosticada mediante el cuadro clínico y uroanálisis, presenta factores de riesgo que provocaron el cuadro clínico. METODOLOGÍA: El estudio es observacional, y descriptivo. se hospitaliza a la paciente por lo menos 48 a 72 horas hasta que haya baja térmica, se continua con tratamiento por vía oral, en caso de fiebre persistente se utiliza medidas como el control de la volemia, antipiréticos, control de temperatura cada 12 hs, control de diuresis cada 24 hs, control de dinámica uterina cada 12 hs, post valoración obstétrica, se da alta médica con tratamiento vía oral por 14 días consecutivos, con control de urocultivo 1 a 2 semanas posterior a prescripción médica culminada. RESULTADO Y CONCLUSIÓN: Gestante con infección de vías urinarias que se manejó con Antibioticoterapia, y exámenes complementarios, la cual evoluciona favorablemente y se prescribe alta médica. El manejo de la paciente fue expectante de acuerdo a la Guía Práctica Clínica del MSP. Paciente con infecciones de vías urinarias recurrentes y violencia intrafamiliar que causaron vulnerabilidad a dicha patología.es_ES
