Humanized childbirth is defined as a respected delivery and puts the mother's cultural beliefs and requests first when it comes to labor and delivery. In Ecuador, humanized childbirth was implemented since 2002 by the Ministry of Public Health, demonstrating a Technical Guide for Humanized Childbirth Care in 2008 with the aim of including the indigenous population to reduce extra-hospital deliveries while respecting their cultures and customs and reduce maternal-neonatal death. The humanized delivery of a 19-year-old patient who undergoes relaxation techniques to tolerate pain is reported and is listened to by health personnel, in order to demonstrate the satisfaction of a humanized delivery by health personnel. Every patient who is admitted is oriented to identify the alarm signs for the quick action of the health personnel. This study with an observational, descriptive and clinical method demonstrates the care and application of techniques to improve the care of a humanized birth, with the aim of analyzing the obstetric behavior in the care of humanized birth in a 19-year-old pregnant woman with 38 years of age. weeks.es_ES
