This case study is carried out in order to know the problems concerning inventory management that the company presents Among the main problems that occurs in the company is the inadequate inventory management, because the company does it manually and does not know exactly what products are available and those that are not, another shortcoming is the lack of rotation of inventory since there is too much merchandise in stock which in the future can cause losses for the company, another problem is that the company does not have an electronic invoicing system that allows it to know how many products are sold per day and which are still available for sale. Inadequate staff also brings certain problems for the company because they do not perform the functions that are designated correctly because they do not know how to perform their work, in addition there is a high rate of employee turnover and this occurs because they do not They are offered incentives to do a good job, in the same way, the company has lost customers due to the fact that they are not given adequate attention so that they feel satisfied with the service they are offered. | dc.description.abstract | La empresa “Store Phone”, se encuentra situada en la ciudad de Babahoyo, con una trayectoria de 5 años cuya actividad comercial se basa en las ventas de celulares, accesorios y a brindar servicios técnicos. Este caso de estudio se lo realiza con el fin de conocer los problemas concernientes a la gestión de inventarios que presenta la empresa. Entre los principales problemas que se presenta en la empresa está el inadecuado manejo de inventario, debido a que la empresa lo realiza de forma manual y no conoce con exactitud los productos que están disponible y los que no, otra falencia es la falta de rotación de inventario ya que se tiene demasiada mercadería en stock lo que a futuro puede ocasionar pérdidas para la empresa, otro de los problema es que la empresa no cuenta con un sistema de facturación electrónica que le permita conocer cuántos productos se venden al día y cuales aún están a disposición para la venta. Un personal inadecuado también trae cierto problemas para la empresa debido a que no realizan las funciones que se le designa de manera correcta porque desconocen la manera de realizar su trabajo, además existe una alta tasa de rotación de empleados y esto se da debido a que no se les ofrece incentivos para que realicen una buena labor, de igual la empresa presenta pérdida de clientes debido a que no se les brinda la atención adecuada para que ellos se sientan satisfecho con el servicio que se les ofrece. Es necesario que la empresa cuente con una gestión de inventario eficaz para que la empresa funcione de la mejor manera posible. | es_ES |
