| dc.description | The cultivation of mandarin Citrus reticulata represents another item for the country's economy, although Ecuador does not have large areas of mandarin, it is a source of work for those who are responsible for the realization of this crop. In recent years, mandarin cultivation has been affected by the presence of Ceratitis capitata, affecting production, this is due to several causes such as: susceptible crops, favorable conditions, poor management of control of the pest insect. In this research, the different types of controls will be explained, which are mentioned below: Natural biological, cultural, chemical, physical, self-acid, integrated and legal control. Another very important data one of the most effective methods to control fruit flies are the different types of traps. The conclusions of this research is to use training workshops for farmers to know how to face the attack of the insect and use the respective control of this pest insect. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El cultivo de mandarina Citrus reticulata representa un rubro más para la economía del país, aunque en el Ecuador no se cuenta con grandes extensiones de mandarina es una fuente de trabajo para quienes se encargan de la realización de este cultivo. En los últimos años en cultivo de mandarina se ha visto afectado por la presencia de Ceratitis capitata, afectando la producción esto se debe por varias causas como: cultivos susceptibles condiciones favorables, deficiente manejo del control del insecto plaga. En esta investigación se explicarán los diferentes tipos de controles los cuales se mencionan a continuación: Control natural biológico, cultural, químico, físico, autocida, integrado y legal. Otro dato muy importante uno de los métodos más efectivos para controlar las moscas de la fruta son los diferentes tipos de trampeos. Las conclusiones de esta investigación es emplear talleres de capacitación a los agricultores para saber afrontar el ataque del insecto y emplear el respectivo control de este insecto plaga. | es_ES |
