dc.descriptionHypertension and obesity are very frequent diseases that affect half of the population as many men as women; Cardiovascular diseases are currently the leading causes of mortality worldwide; The present case refers to a 55-year-old female, with a history of obesity and polycystic syndrome; Allergies and surgical history does not refer; Family history hypertensive mother, father with congestive heart failure; He goes to the medical control where he says that in the last weeks he has presented a headache accompanied by nausea, vomiting and blurred vision, due to the personal and family history that the patient presents, the doctor sends him to take a blood pressure test for a week where a higher than normal blood pressure is reflected; Upon normal physical examination without incident, all normal vital signs except her blood pressure reflecting 150mmHg; The nutritional evaluation reflected a BMI of 30.2 kg / m2 and its biochemical evaluation revealed hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypokalemia, and hypernatremia, and after collecting all the patient's medical information, she was diagnosed with arterial hypertension and was referred to the nutritionist for her intervention. An individualized diet-therapeutic plan was carried out adjusted to the present problems of the patient, the type of diet that was prescribed was the DASH diet that was divided into 4 meal times, a diet that has hyposodic characteristics and is rich in potassium, with the aim of maintain optimal blood pressure levels and prevent future complications.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa Hipertensión Arterial y la Obesidad son enfermedades muy frecuentes que afectan a la mitad de la población tantos hombres como mujeres; Actualmente las enfermedades cardiovasculares son las primeras causas de mortalidad a nivel mundial; El presente caso hace referencia a una mujer de sexo femenino de 55 años de edad, con antecedentes de obesidad y síndrome poliquistico; Alergias y antecedentes quirúrgicos no refiere, Antecedentes familiares, madre hipertensa y padre con insuficiencia cardiaca congestiva; Acude a control médico refiere que ha presentado, dolor de cabeza acompañado de nauseas, vómitos y visión borrosa, por los antecedentes personales y familiares que presenta la paciente el médico le envía a realizarse una toma de presión arterial durante una semana donde esta reflejo una tensión arterial mayor a lo normal; Al examen físico normal sin novedad, signos vitales todos normales excepto su tensión arterial que reflejo 150mmHg; La valoración nutricional reflejo un IMC de 30.2 kg/m2 y su valoración bioquímica revelo hipercolesterolemia, Hipertrigliceridemia, Hipocalemia e Hipernatremia y luego de recopilar toda la información médica de la paciente es diagnosticada con Hipertensión Arterial y es remitida al nutricionista para su intervención. Se realizó un plan dieto terapéutico individualizado ajustado a los problemas presente de la paciente, el tipo de dieta que se prescribió fue la dieta DASH que fue fraccionada en 4 tiempos de comida; Esta es una alimentación que posee características hiposodica y rica en potasio, esta dieta fue implementada con el objetivo de mantener niveles óptimos de tensión arterial y prevenir complicaciones futuras.es_ES
