Corresponding biochemical tests were performed in which hypercholesterolemia is reflected. With the patient, it is necessary to improve the nutritional status, for which an adequate diet plan was applied to the needs and illnesses of the patient, in addition to performing the nutritional intervention as an essential part of the treatment accompanied by follow-up and monitoring.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el presente caso clínico se refiere a una paciente de 44 años de edad con obesidad e hipercolesterolemia. Antecedentes familiares padres diagnosticados con Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2. De acuerdo a la valoración antropométrica que se le realizó a la paciente presenta un índice de masa corporal de 37𝑘𝑔⁄𝑚2 que según la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), se clasifica en Obesidad Grado II con un riesgo cardiovascular elevado en su exploración física, en la revisión clínica muestra Presión Arterial: 126/90mmhg; frecuencia respiratoria: 19 respiraciones por minuto; temperatura: 36,7. Se le realizo exámenes bioquímicos correspondientes en el cual se refleja hipercolesterolemia. Con la paciente se requiere mejorar el estado nutricional, por lo cual se aplicó un plan de alimentación adecuado a las necesidades y enfermedades de la paciente, además de realizar la intervención nutricional como parte esencial en el tratamiento acompañado del seguimiento y monitoreo.es_ES
