dc.descriptionSubclinical Hypothyroidism is currently one of the diseases Little considered, that is, it is an ignored pathology, despite the fact it only requires verification of elevated TSH and T4 values in normal ranges for its diagnisis, which is why doctors are recommended to increase the frequency of performing these tests, to achieve a timely diagnosis and apply treatment. The present clinical case, a 48-year-old female patient with Subclinical Hypothyroidism and Obesity with a family history of maternal diabetes and a hipertensive father, who comes to the IESS hospital outpatient clinic for presenting weight gain and fatigue for no apparent reason. Accompanied by laboratory results where TSH reports alterations with higher tan normal values and normal T4. The described case will have the execution of a personalized nitritional plan for the patient with the aim of rectifying their eating style and controlling future problems with Subclinical Hipothyroidism. Nutritional intervention gave a favorable result for the patient, showing in the follow-up and monitoring that an improvement in antropometric andicators was carried auto ver a period of three months, such as the weight of 82 kg decreased to 69 kg, waist circumference from 108 cm to 96 cm, hip circumference from 122 cm to 111 cm, and the BMI from 31,2 kg/m2 to 26.3 kg/m2, in addition to reaching normal values of triglycerides and TSH.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl hipotiroidismo Subclínico en la actualidad es una de las enfermedades poco tomadas en consideración, es una patología ignorada, a pesar de que para su diagnóstico solo se necesita la verificación de los valores de TSH elevados y T4 en rangos normales, motivo por el cual se recomienda a los médicos aumenten la frecuencia de realización de dichos exámenes, para lograr así un diagnóstico oportuno y aplicar un tratamiento. El presente caso clínico planteado, paciente de sexo femenino de 48 años de edad con hipotiroidismo Subclínico y obesidad con antecedentes patológicos familiares de diabetes por parte materna y padre hipertenso, que acude a consulta externa del hospital del IESS por presentar aumento de peso y cansancio sin motivo aparente. Acompañada de los resultados de laboratorio donde TSH reporta alteraciones con valores superiores a los normales y T4 normal. Este caso descrito tendrá la ejecución de un plan nutricional personalizado para la paciente con el objetivo de rectificar su estilo alimentario y controlar futuros inconvenientes con el hipotiroidismo Subclínico. La intervención nutricional dio un resultado favorable hacia la paciente, mostrando en el seguimiento y monitoreo que se le efectuó durante un periodo de tres meses una mejoría en los indicadores antropométricos, tales como el peso de 82 kg disminuyo a 69 kg, la circunferencia de cintura de 108 cm a 96 cm, la circunferencia de cadera de 122 cm a 111 cm, y el IMC de 31,2 kg/m2 a 26,3 kg/m2, además de alcanzar los valores normales de triglicéridos y TSH.es_ES
