dc.descriptionThe present clinical case deals with the adequate nutritional management of arterial hypertension and obesity in a 54 year old female patient from Montalvo diagnosed with Hypertension 2 months ago, who came to the clinic due to severe headache, blurred vision, dizziness, muscle aches in the lower limbs, which is why through clinical intervention the doctor determines high blood pressure and obesity. For the development of the clinical case, a study was carried out where the main objective was to improve the nutritional status of the patient through comprehensive nutritional care through adequate treatment for these pathologies. The purpose for which the following clinical case is carried out is to help the patient improve her health, her eating habits and quality of life through adequate nutritional intervention and thus be able to prevent complications in the short and long term. Through which the respective nutritional intervention was carried out, which based on a comprehensive nutritional assessment, the patient was diagnosed with Grade I Obesity, with high cardiovascular risk, in addition to excessive food intake. A nutritional plan of 1600kcal per day was established based on the nutritional needs of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, fiber, sodium and potassium, with which a favorable reduction in weight and blood pressure was obtained in the period of 6 weeks.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso clínico trata sobre el manejo nutricional adecuado de la hipertensión arterial y obesidad en una paciente de sexo femenino de 54 años de edad residente de Montalvo diagnosticada con Hipertensión Arterial hace 2 meses, la cual acudió a consulta por presentar cefalea intensa, visión borrosa, mareo, dolores musculares en miembros inferiores, razón por la que mediante la intervención clínica el medico determina hipertensión arterial y obesidad. Para el desarrollo del caso clínico se efectuó un estudio donde se planteó como objetivo principal mejorar el estado nutricional de la paciente a través de la atención integral nutricional por medio de un tratamiento adecuado para dichas patologías. La finalidad con la que se realiza el siguiente caso clínico es para ayudar a la paciente a mejorar su salud, sus hábitos alimenticios y calidad de vida por medio de la intervención nutricional adecuada y así poder prevenir complicación a corto y largo plazo. A través de la cual se realizó la respectiva intervención nutricional que basada en una valoración nutricional integral se le diagnosticó a la paciente con Obesidad Grado I, con riesgo cardiovascular alto, además de una ingesta alimentaria excesiva. Se estableció un plan nutricional de 1600kcal por día basado en las necesidades nutricionales de carbohidratos, proteínas, grasas, fibra, sodio y potasio, con lo cual se obtuvo una reducción favorable en el peso y presión arterial en el lapso de 6 semanas.es_ES
