dc.description63-year-old female patient with bacterial pneumonia, hypertensive attends a medical consultation with symptoms of respiratory distress, frequent cough, fever, vomiting, decreased level of consciousness, chest pain, during her hospital stay she receives amoxicillin-clavulanic acid treatment 500/125 mg every 8 hours or 875/125 mg every 12 hours, Cefuroxime 500 mg every 12 hours or Levofloxacin 750 mg / day orally for 7-10 days and oxygen therapy rehabilitation therapies are applied. Bacterial pneumonia is a serious infection of the lungs that causes symptoms such as coughing up phlegm, fever and shortness of breath, arising from a cold or flu that does not heal or worsens over time, caused by the bacteria in Streptococci. pneumoniae, is common in elderly patients with comorbidities such as hypertension, heart failure and COPD, for which they are at higher risk. The objective of the clinical study was to observe the clinical manifestations and diagnosis of bacterial pneumonia, in order to carry out a correct clinical management, the important pathological aspects were studied, for the application of respiratory rehabilitation therapies and the administration of drugs, which will allow it to evolve in a timely manner to the patient.es_ES

dc.description.abstractPaciente de 63 años de sexo femenino con neumonía bacteriana, hipertensa asiste a consulta médica con síntomas de distrés respiratorio, tos frecuente, fiebre, vomito, disminución de nivel de conciencia, dolor torácico, durante su estancia hospitalaria recibe tratamiento médico de amoxicilina-Ácido clavulánico 500/125 mg cada 8 horas ó 875/125 mg cada 12 horas, Cefuroxima 500 mg cada 12horas oLevofloxacina 750 mg/día vía oral durante 7-10 días y se aplica terapias de rehabilitación de oxigenoterapia. La neumonía bacteriana es una infección grave de los pulmones que genera síntomas como tos con flema, fiebre y dificultad para respirar, que surge de una gripe o resfriado que no se cura o que empeora a lo largo del tiempo, causada por la bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae, es recuente en pacientes de edad avanzada y con comorbilidades como hipertensión arterial, insuficiencia cardíaca y EPOC, por el cual posen mayor riesgo. El estudio clínico tuvo como objetivo observar las manifestaciones clínicas y diagnóstico de la neumonía bacteriana, con el fin de realizar un correcto manejo clínico, se estudiaron los aspectos importantes patológicos, para la aplicación de terapias rehabilitación respiratoria y la administración de fármacos lo que permitió evolucionar de forma oportuna al paciente.es_ES
