| dc.description | Currently, companies have the need to implement new technologies to automate their processes that are carried out manually, all this with the aim of automating the management of the information that is processed in the organization. In the drivers' union there is a computerized inventory system, but this does not meet the quality guidelines necessary for this, the institution needs to improve the automation of inventory management. The union administration has a small computer system, which does not offer many alternatives in managing various processes. The objective of this case study is to analyze the limitations of the inventory system of the Babahoyo drivers’ union and determine what are the current restrictions that are present in the institution. The system has very important deficiencies, such as the lack of additional modules, there are very late response times which is a factor that negatively influences the performance of the software. It is good to mention that computer systems are not final units, they are constantly updated, so that these changes represent the new requirements that the institution is acquiring based on the current demand for information and new technologies. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad las empresas tienen la necesidad de implementar nuevas tecnologías para automatizar sus procesos que se realizan manualmente, todo esto con el objetivo de automatizar la gestión de la información que se procesa en la organización. En el sindicato de choferes existe un sistema informático de inventarios, pero este no cumple con los lineamientos de calidad necesarios para ello se necesita que la institución mejore la automatización del manejo de inventarios. La administración del sindicato cuenta con un pequeño sistema informático, el cual no ofrece muchas alternativas en el manejo de diversos procesos. El objetivo del presente caso de estudio es analizar las limitaciones del sistema de inventario del sindicato de choferes de Babahoyo y determinar cuáles son las restricciones actuales que se presentan en la institución. El sistema posee deficiencias muy importantes, como la falta de módulos adicionales, existen tiempos de respuestas muy tardíos lo cual es un factor que influye negativamente en el rendimiento del software. Está bien mencionar que los sistemas informáticos no son unidades finales, estas están en constante actualización, para que estos cambios que representan los nuevos requerimientos que la institución va adquiriendo en base a la demanda actual de información y de las nuevas tecnologías. | es_ES |
