| dc.description | Diabetes is a pathology that seriously affects Ecuador, being the third cause of death in the country, an indicator that should promote the population to have a better food quality and avoid suffering from this disease. The patient to be treated is a 38-year-old woman with 37.6 weeks of gestation who suffers from type II diabetes mellitus with a progression of 5 years.According to nutritional assessment, the patient reports being overweight according to the BMI indicator (Body Mass Index), in Regarding relevant biochemical examinations, their glycosylated hemoglobin values are within normal parameters, which reveals that the patient has controlled diabetes, however, he presented ulcerative lesions in the lower limbs, for which a nursing intervention was applied for his Recovery. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La diabetes es una patología que afecta gravemente al Ecuador, siendo la tercera causa de muerte en el país, indicador que debe promover la población a llevar una mejor calidad alimentaria y evitar el padecimiento de esta enfermedad. La paciente a tratar es una mujer estado de gestación con 37.6 semanas de 38 años de edad que padece diabetes mellitus tipo II con una progresión de 5 años, según valoración nutricional el paciente refiere sobrepeso según el indicador IMC(Índice de masa corporal), en cuanto a exámenes bioquímicos relevantes sus valores de hemoglobina glicosilada se encuentra dentro de los parámetros normales lo que nos revela que el paciente tiene una diabetes controlada, sin embargo presentó lesiones ulcerosas en los miembros inferiores, por lo que se aplico una intervención de enfermería para su recuperación. | es_ES |
