| dc.description | Cellulitis is an acute bacterial infection involving the skin and subcutaneous tissue, it is generally caused by causative agents such as streptococci or staphylococci. The clinical manifestations are pain, heat, edema, erythema, fever, it becomes more serious infections when the regional lymph nodes increase in size. Cultures are helpful for diagnosis, but antibiotic treatment should not be delayed. The prognostic factor is optimal with proper treatment of the lesions. The current clinical case was based on the nursing interventions used in a 14 year old male patient with a diagnosis of cellulitis in the lower right limb. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La celulitis es una infección bacteriana aguda comprometiendo la piel y el tejido subcutáneo, generalmente es causada por agentes causales como estreptococos o estafilococos. Las manifestaciones clínicas son dolor, calor, edema, eritema, fiebre, se convierte en infecciones más graves cuando los ganglios linfáticos regionales aumentan de tamaño. Para el diagnóstico contribuye la realización de cultivos, pero el tratamiento con antibióticos no debe retrasarse. El factor pronóstico es óptimo con el tratamiento adecuado de las lesiones. El caso clínico actual se basó en las intervenciones de enfermería empleado en un paciente masculino de 14 años de edad con diagnóstico de Celulitis en miembro inferior derecho. | es_ES |
