| dc.description | The present clinical case discloses the nursing care process in a 56-year-old patient diagnosed with high blood pressure and type II diabetes mellitus. This study was applied at IESS Babahoyo General Hospital in the Emergency area and aims to contribute to the guidance of health professionals on the care to be provided. Nursing care and its application include the definition, causes, diagnostic complications and treatment of the disease, developed according to the assessment by functional patterns of Marjory Gordon and the taxonomy NANDA, NOC, NIC; planned nursing activities for the management of high blood pressure and type II diabetes mellitus are based on exposed scientific evidence and through these achieve the early recovery of the patient's health. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso clínico da a conocer el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente de 56 años de edad con diagnóstico de hipertensión arterial y diabetes mellitus tipo II. Este estudio se aplicó en el Hospital General IESS Babahoyo en el área de Emergencia y pretende contribuir a la orientación de los profesionales de la salud sobre los cuidados que se deben proporcionar. La atención de enfermería y su aplicación comprenden la definición, causas, complicaciones diagnóstico y tratamiento de la enfermedad, se desarrolla acorde a la valoración por patrones funcionales de Marjory Gordon y la taxonomía NANDA, NOC, NIC; las actividades de enfermería planificadas para el manejo de la hipertensión arterial y diabetes mellitus tipo II se fundamentan en base a la evidencia científica expuesta y por medio de estas lograr la pronta recuperación de la salud del paciente. | es_ES |
