dc.descriptionThis case study is focused on the Economic Impact in the Municipal Public Company Terrestre Terminal Transit Y Seguridad Vìal del Cantón Babahoyo in the Period 2019-2020, impact that was generated by demonstrations caused by the elimination of the gasoline subsidy in the month October 2019 and the Covid-19 pandemic from March 2020 in Ecuador, the variations in income and expenses and the repercussions of the events caused by the aforementioned factors are reflected. The objective of this case study is to analyze the economic impact where the economic deficit resulting from the decrease in income received by the entity in this case study is estimated in the months of standstill. The results indicate economic losses that vary between $ 75,000 to $ 133,000 dollars per month according to the months of isolation considered, the most affected income is the comparative sales of the terminal, (rates), Parking of private vehicles, Bus recharges, Recharge Taxis, Bus garage collection, which in relation to fixed expenses such as Guardianship, Cleaning, Basic Services, Salaries that must be canceled regardless of the income received by the institution, causing a negative economic impact on the company in this case study. The events that caused the resounding closure of the company, affecting the economy at a local and national level, caused a reduction in one of the highest revenues, which is the sales of comparative rates (rates), due to the wide circulation of users. The approach to this case study is framed in the interview and deductive method based on the variation of the company's income and expenses. The results show that the deficit caused by stoppages of various kinds affects the economic development of Ecuadorian society.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso de estudio está centrado en el Impacto Económico En La Empresa Pública Municipal Terminal Terrestre Tránsito Y Seguridad Vìal Del Cantón Babahoyo en el Periodo 2019-2020, impacto que fue generado por manifestaciones ocasionadas por la eliminación del subsidio de la gasolina en el mes de octubre 2019 y pandemia covid-19 a partir de marzo 2020 en el Ecuador, se reflejan las variaciones de los ingresos y gastos y las repercusiones de los acontecimiento ocasionado por los factores antes mencionados. El objetivo de este caso de estudio es analizar el impacto económico donde se estima el déficit económico que resulta de la disminución de los ingresos que percibe la entidad del presente caso de estudio en los meses de paralización. Los resultados señalan pérdidas económicas que varían entre $ 75.000 a $ 133.000 dólares por mes de acuerdo a los meses de asilamiento considerados, los ingresos más afectados son las Ventas comparativas del terminal, (tasas), Parqueo de vehículos particulares, Recargas de buses, Recarga de taxis, Cobro de garaje de buses, que en relación a los egresos fijos como Guardianía, Limpieza, Servicios básicos, Sueldos que se deben de cancelar independientemente de los ingresos que reciban la institución, ocasionando un impacto económico negativo en la empresa del presente caso de estudio. Los acontecimientos que ocasionaron el cierre rotundo de la empresa afectando la economía a nivel local y nacional, provocaron reducción en uno de los mayores ingresos que son las ventas de tasas comparativas (tasas), debido a la amplia circulación de los usuarios. El abordaje de este caso de estudio está enmarcado en el método de entrevista y deductivo en base a la variación de los ingresos y egresos de la empresa. Los resultados evidencian que el déficit ocasionado por paralizaciones de diversa índoles repercute en el desarrollo económico de la sociedad ecuatoriana.es_ES
