dc.descriptionSUMMARY This experiment was carried out on the premises of the Experimental Farm "San Pablo" of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, at the Babahoyo Technical University, located at KM 7.5 of the Babahoyo – Montalvo road. The main objective of the study was to evaluate the morphoagronomic and productive variation of F2 lines of rice (Oryza sativa L.), derived from the crosses with a female progenitor resistant to imazetapir herbicide. The evaluated variables were: Vigor, Flowering, Vegetative Cycle, Plant Height (cm), Panicles per Plant, Panicle Length (cm), Grains per Panicle, Sterility %, Weight of 1000 Grains (g), Yield (g/Plant), Grain Shape, Grain Length and Width (mm). Based on the results obtained, it was observed that all treatments had a high variability, since in all variables there are highly significant differences. With respect to yield (g/plant), it was determined that the BR-101/G-113, BR-101/CA-102, FI-104, BR-101/G-112 and BR-101 progenies were statistically higher than other treatments, with an average of 41.15; 41,87; 42,70; 46.47 and 46.0 g/plant. The best progenies with superior agronomic and productive characteristics were selected: One of the most important agronomic characteristics was the number of panicles presented by br-101/FE-103 progenies, BR-101/G-112, BR-101/CA-102 and BR-101/G-113, selected for presenting ranges from 18.5 to 23.73 panicle/plant, although they were statistically different, were the progenies that reached the highest averages. The most productive progenies were selected, including BR-101/G-111, BR-101/FI-105, BR-101/SH-108, BR-101/FI-106, BR-101/G-113, BR-101/CA-102 and BR-101/G-112, for presenting ranges from 38.32 to 46 g/plant while statistically similar.es_ES

dc.description.abstractRESUMEN El presente ensayo experimental se realizó en los predios de la Granja Experimental “San Pablo” de la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias, Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, ubicada en KM 7,5 de la vía Babahoyo – Montalvo. El objetivo principal de estudio fue evaluar la variación morfoagronómica y productiva de líneas F2 de arroz (Oryza sativa L.), derivadas de cruces con un progenitor femenino resistente al herbicida imazetapir. La variables evaluadas fueron: Vigor, Floración, Ciclo vegetativo, Altura de planta (cm), Panículas por planta, Longitud de panícula (cm), Granos por panícula, Esterilidad %, peso de 1000 granos (g), Rendimiento (g/planta), Forma de grano, Longitud y Ancho de grano (mm). Según los resultados obtenidos, se observó que todos los tratamientos presentaron una alta variabilidad, ya que en todas las variaciones se registra diferencias altamente significativas. Con relación a los resultados, respecto al rendimiento (g/planta), se determinó que las progenies BR-101/G-113, BR-101/CA-102, FI-104, BR-101/G-112 y BR-101 fueron estadísticamente superiores al resto de los tratamientos, presentando medias de 41,15; 41,87; 42,70; 46,47 y 46,0 g/planta. Se seleccionaron las mejores progenies con características agronómicas y productivas superiores: Una de las características agronómicas de mayor relevancia fue el número de panículas que presentaron las progenies BR-101/FE-103, BR-101/G-112, BR-101/CA-102 y BR-101/G-113, seleccionadas por presentar rangos de 18,5 a 23,73 panícula/planta, aunque estadísticamente son diferentes, fueron las progenies que alcanzaron los mayores promedios. Se seleccionaron las progenies de mejores características productivas, entre ellas las progenies BR-101/G-111, BR-101/FI-105, BR-101/SH-108, BR-101/FI-106, BR-101/G-113, BR-101/CA-102 y BR-101/G-112, por presentar rangos de 38,32 a 46 g/planta y que a la vez son estadísticamente similares.es_ES
