Resistencia de malezas a la aplicación de herbicidas inhibidores de la enzima acetil coenzima-A carboxilasa (ACCasa).
Abstract
La resistencia a los herbicidas es la capacidad que han desarrollado las poblaciones de malezas previamente susceptibles a un cierto herbicida para resistir a ese compuesto y completar su ciclo biológico cuando el herbicida es aplicado en sus dosis normales; esta capacidad se ha incrementado seriamente en los últimos años.
Si bien la gran mayoría de los casos de resistencia a los herbicidas han ocurrido en los países desarrollados, también en los países en desarrollo varias malezas importantes han evolucionado a ciertas formas de resistencia con un considerable impacto económico negativo sobre algunos cultivos específicos. Esta breve revisión está enfocada al manejo de las malezas resistentes a los herbicidas en los países en desarrollo, dando preferencia a los casos que se encuentran en dichos países y a las prácticas adecuadas para enfrentar esos problemas (LeBaron, 2001).
Para el desarrollo del presente documento se recolectó información bibliográfica de libros, revistas, periódicos, artículos científicos, páginas web, ponencia, congresos y manuales técnicos. La información obtenida fue efectuada mediante la técnica de análisis, síntesis y resumen, con la finalidad de que el lector conozca sobre la importancia de las resistencias de las malezas a herbicidas inhibidores de la enzima acetil coenzima-A carboxilasa (ACCasa) como erradicarlas y prevenirlas.
