| dc.description | Anemia is one of the problems that has the most repercussions, as it is related to pregnancy, various obstetric pathologies could develop such as low birth weight, preterm delivery and increased perinatal mortality, several authors point out that it also it could be associated with postpartum depression. Anemia is the deficiency of iron in the blood. In medical terms, it is the hemoglobin concentration less than 11g / dl according to the WHO criteria, for this it is classified as severe: <7g / dl, moderate from 7 to 9 g / dl, mild> 9 to 11 mg / dl. Iron deficiency anemia in pregnancy is due to a deficiency of iron that the body needs to make hemoglobin. The recommended treatment is a diet rich in iron, vitamin C that helps its absorption, and iron supplements. The prevalence during pregnancy is 46.9% with anemia. There is approximately 40% of pregnant women worldwide who suffer from some degree of anemia. In 2016, in a sample of 25 patients diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia, 76% had mild anemia, while 24% had moderate anemia according to clinical severity based on hemoglobin concentration. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La anemia es uno de los problemas que más repercusiones tienen, al relacionarse con el embarazo, podrían desarrollarse diversas patologías obstétricas como bajo peso del recién nacido, parto pretérmino y aumento de la mortalidad perinatal, varios autores señalan que también podría asociarse a la depresión postparto. La anemia es la deficiencia de hierro en la sangre. En términos médicos, es la concentración de hemoglobina menor a 11g/dl según los criterios de la OMS, para ello se la clasifica en grave: <7g/dl, moderada de 7 a 9 g/dl, leve > 9 a 11 mg/dl. La anemia ferropénica en el embarazo se debe a la deficiencia de hierro que el cuerpo necesita para producir la hemoglobina. El tratamiento recomendado es una alimentación rica en hierro, vitamina c que ayuda a su absorción y suplementos de hierro. La prevalencia durante el embarazo es de 46,9% con anemia. Existe un aproximado de 40% de embarazadas a nivel mundial que sufren algún grado de anemia. En el 2016, en una muestra de 25 pacientes con diagnóstico de anemia ferropénica el 76% presentó una anemia leve, mientras que el 24% presentó una anemia moderada según la severidad clínica basada en la concentración de hemoglobina. | es_ES |
