The Espoir Foundation of the city of Babahoyo, is a private non-profit organization, this entity's mission is to promote the economic development of microentrepreneurs and microentrepreneurs with the purpose of improving their lifestyle through the provision of micro services financial and non-financial, in addition to having the various credits offered by this Foundation. This case study is based on the impact that the existing Portfolio Recovery Management has in the different groups of loans provided by Espoir which have not been fully paid within the stipulated terms, or which, having been reorganized or renewed, continue to have defaults by the partners or members of the solidarity groups generating an overdue portfolio, which has caused a high percentage of the accounts receivable from the Espoir Foundation. This occurs because on many occasions the partners use the credits that have been granted to them in unnecessary things or in other situations to cover other outstanding debts that the partners who have received the money had, thus causing the credit they have received is not given the necessary use so that it generates more money or profit, that is, investing your money or credit in something productive that creates more capital. The present case study is governed under a subline of investigation which is that of Financial Management, taxation and social commitment, through this subline it was possible to address more in depth about the shortcomings that influence and that are of great interest to be analyzed at the Espoir Foundation, in addition to knowing if the methods or strategies used by the Foundation are of great use to them to reduce their accounts receivable.es_ES
