| dc.description | The nursing care process constitutes the fundamental pillar to provide adequate care to patients suffering from various pathologies. Cirrhosis is characterized by the progressive destruction of the liver parenchyma and by alterations in the structure of the liver. Being a silent disease of slow process whose symptoms appear in advanced stages of the disease. The development of this clinical case was based on a 48-year-old patient with a medical diagnosis of liver cirrhosis, taking into consideration the needs according to Gordon's functional patterns, and Nanda, Noc and Nic taxonomic requirements, which allow adequate care that is beneficial for the patient through the application of Pae; The corresponding follow-up was carried out in which it consists of 6 days of evaluation and control from the application of the treatment to the patient, which shows the improvement until reaching the sixth day with a favorable evolution; what was evidenced in the hospital discharge process, put through the correct identification of the nursing care process, the patient can improve their quality of life. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El proceso de atención de enfermería constituye, el pilar fundamental para brindar, un adecuado cuidado a los pacientes en el padecimiento de diversas patologías. La cirrosis se caracteriza por la destrucción de forma progresiva del parénquima hepático y por alteraciones de la estructura del hígado. Siendo una enfermedad silenciosa de lento proceso cuyos síntomas se presentan en estadios avanzados de la enfermedad. El desarrollo de este caso clínico se basó en un paciente de 48 años con diagnóstico médico de cirrosis hepática tomando en consideración las necesidades según los patrones funcionales de Gordon, y requerimientos taxonómicos Nanda, Noc y Nic, los cuales permiten dar un cuidado adecuado que sea beneficioso para el paciente por medio de la aplicación del PAE; se efectúo el seguimiento correspondiente en el cual consta de 6 días de evaluación y control desde la aplicación del tratamiento al paciente con lo cual se evidencia la mejoría hasta llegar al sexto día con una evolución favorable; lo que se evidencio en el proceso de alta hospitalaria, puesto por medio de la correcta identificación del proceso de atención de enfermería el paciente puede mejorar su calidad de vida. | es_ES |
