dc.description.abstractEl presente documento trató sobre la importancia del Silicio como acondicionador de suelos para la producción de cultivos de ciclo corto. En la actualidad la mayoría de los productores utilizan micronutrientes complementarios a la fertilización con macroelementos con la finalidad de incrementar sus rendimientos. Se desarrolló como componente práctico para trabajo de titulación de acuerdo a las investigaciones que fueron recopiladas de artículos científicos, textos, revistas, periódicos, ponencias, congresos y páginas virtuales. La búsqueda posteriormente fue sometida a las técnicas de análisis, síntesis y resumen donde se trató lo referente a la importancia del Silicio como acondicionador de suelos para la producción de cultivos de ciclo corto. Por lo expuesto de determinó que las características agronómicas de los cultivos como altura de planta, longitud y peso de frutos obtienen excelente respuesta con la aplicación de Silicio después de la siembra y el Silicio actúa como acondicionador de suelos, según se ha demostrado en varias investigaciones de cultivos de ciclo corto. Por ello se recomendó aplicar Silicio complementario a la fertilización mineral en los cultivos de ciclo corto, como mejorados y acondicionador de suelos y efectuar parámetros de investigaciones sobre el Silicio y divulgarlo a los pequeños y medianos productores, con la finalidad de incentivar la aplicación de este elemento a los cultivos de ciclo corto.es_ES
