| dc.description | Acute respiratory infections include the pathologies of the respiratory system from the nose to the alveoli for a period of 15 days. They are the cause of the highest number of deaths of children under six months due to viruses and bacteria. The objective of the study will be to determine the knowledge of the management of protocols for nursing interventions applied to children under 5 years of age with acute respiratory diseases in the pediatric area of the Basic Hospital of Playas period October 2019 - March 2020. The methodology used was mixed Being qualitative and quantitative, the population is made up of 11 people made up of Nurses and Nurses who work in the Pediatrics service of the Playas Basic Hospital. 73% of the nursing staff affirm that in the institution if the IRA protocols have been socialized and applied in children under 5 years of age and they plan the care of children with acute respiratory infections. As a proposal, a guide for the prevention of acute respiratory diseases is proposed for parents of children under five years old at the Basic Beach Hospital. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Las infecciones respiratorias agudas comprenden las patologías del aparato respiratorio desde la nariz hasta los alvéolos por un tiempo de 15 días. Son la causa del mayor número de muertes de niños menores de seis meses a causa de virus y bacterias. El objetivo del estudio será determinar el conocimiento del manejo de protocolos de las intervenciones de enfermería aplicadas a niños menores de 5 años con enfermedades respiratorias agudas en el área de pediatría del Hospital Básico de Playas periodo octubre 2019 – marzo 2020. La metodología utilizada fue mixta por ser cualitativa y cuantitativa, la población está constituida por 11 personas constituido por Enfermeros/as e internos de Enfermería que laboran en el servicio de Pediatría del Hospital Básico Playas. El 73% del personal de enfermería afirma que en la institución si se ha socializado y se aplican los protocolos de IRA en niños menores de 5 años y realiza la planificación de los cuidados de los niños con infecciones respiratorias agudas. Como propuesta se plantea una guía de prevención de enfermedades respiratorias agudas dirigida a los padres de menores de cinco años del Hospital Básico de Playas. | es_ES |
