dc.descriptionSexually transmitted diseases are the most common in the country, in fact almost all sexually active people are infected with them, where human papillomavirus infection is listed, Most people with the virus do not have symptomatology so they do not suspect being infected, often due to lack of knowledge; However, some types of HPV can cause genital warts or certain types of cancer. The present study is of a descriptive and explanatory type since it describes the problem posed and explains the causes that originated the analyzed situation, with a quantitative approach in which there is no cause-effect relationship of the studied phenomena allowing to identify the behavior of the adolescents of the Barrio Lindo community in the city of Babahoyo and the nursing professionals who work at the Enrique Ponce Luque Health Center. The sample that participated in the research is 56 adolescents and 8 nursing professionals, using questionnaires formulated with 10 open and closed questions to collect data, to subsequently tabulate analyze, conclude establish recommendations culminating with a Proposal.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLas enfermedades de transmisión sexual son las más comunes en el país, de hecho casi todas las personas sexualmente activa se contagias con ellas, donde cuenta en el listado la infección por virus de papiloma humano, La mayor parte de las personas con el virus no tiene sintomatología por lo que ni sospechan estar infectadas, muchas veces por la falta de conocimiento; sin embargo algunos tipos del VPH pueden provocar verrugas genitales o ciertos tipos de cáncer. El presente estudio es de tipo descriptiva y explicativa ya que describe el problema planteado y explica las causas que originaron la situación analizada, con enfoque cuantitativa en la que no existe relación de causa efecto de los fenómenos estudiados permitiendo identificar el comportamiento de los adolescentes de la comunidad de Barrio Lindo de la ciudad de Babahoyo y los profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el Centro de Salud Enrique Ponce Luque. La muestra que participaron en la investigación es de 56 adolescentes y 8 profesionales de enfermería, utilizando para la recolección de datos cuestionarios formulados con 10 preguntas abiertas y cerradas, para posteriormente tabular analizar, concluir establecer recomendaciones culminando con una Propuesta.es_ES
