| dc.description | The present case study has been carried out at the construction company ENGEN S.A in the city of Babahoyo, the central theme of analysis is the debt ratio that the company presents. The context that is analyzed revolves around the economic and financial management that the organization has had; the aspect to highlight is that it is a relatively new construction company in the market, so it may be exposed to certain imbalances in its economy as a result of adequately managing debt ratios. The technique used to obtain the relevant information that contributes significantly to the investigation is the interview with the manager of the company, through which important data such as the financial statements for the periods 2018 and 2019 have been obtained. The results show that despite Being an organization with only a few years in the local market, has obtained good results since economic growth and a moderate level of indebtedness are evident, but its attention should not be overlooked because it may lose financial autonomy. The investigation concludes by stating that the construction company ENGEN S.A maintains a balance regarding its finances, which has allowed it to obtain competitiveness in the market in which it operates. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso de estudio ha sido realizado en la constructora ENGEN S.A de la ciudad de Babahoyo, el tema central de análisis es el índice de endeudamiento que la empresa presenta. El contexto que se analiza gira en torno al manejo económico y financiero que ha tenido la organización; el aspecto a resaltar es que es una constructora relativamente nueva en el mercado por lo que puede quedar expuesta a determinados desequilibrios en su economía producto de manejar de manera adecuada los índices de endeudamiento. La técnica empleada para obtener la información relevante que aporte de manera significativa a la investigación es la entrevista al gerente de la empresa, mediante la cual se han obtenido datos importantes como los estados financieros de los periodos 2018 y 2019. Los resultados evidencian que pese a ser una organización con pocos años en el mercado local, ha obtenido buenos resultados pues se evidencia crecimiento económico y un nivel de endeudamiento moderado, pero que no se debe soslayar su atención porque puede perder autonomía financiera. La investigación concluye manifestando que la constructora ENGEN S.A mantiene equilibrio en cuanto a sus finanzas lo cual le ha permitido obtener competitividad en el mercado en el que se desenvuelve. | es_ES |
