dc.description.abstractLa depresión es un trastorno mental frecuente, que se caracteriza por la presencia de tristeza, pérdida de interés o placer, sentimientos de culpa o falta de autoestima, trastornos del sueño o del apetito, la privación de libertad hace referencia a la ordenanza penal que se asigna a la persona que ha cometido una acción delictiva, este estudio de caso se realiza con el objetivo de encontrar la influencia de la depresión sobre el consumo de drogas en una persona privada de libertad. Para lograra encontrar las afectaciones en el área emocional de la persona se utilizaron diferentes técnicas e instrumentos de valoración diagnostica como son, el Inventario de Depresión de Beck, para evaluar los índices de depresión subyacentes y la Prueba de detección de consumo de alcohol, tabaco y sustancias (ASSIST), sirviendo de gran apoyo a la hora de evidencias el cuadro sintomatológico, junto a los datos obtenidos de la entrevista psicológica.es_ES
