dc.descriptionCurrently, every institution requires agility in all the processes it carries out, which is why this study took place in an educational unit in the Montalvo canton, where greater speed is required when registering enrollments and academic grades belonging to students of said institution, the proposal established for the educational establishment is to facilitate and expedite work within the secretariat department, the most appropriate way to do it successfully is through an academic management system of its own within the educational unit, but not software can be developed without having subsequently carried out a study focusing on its design, therefore, the starting point for obtaining a correct and quality software design is, through the analysis of both functional and non-functional requirements therefore, the research methodology used was qualitative; interview technique using an open-ended questionnaire; The detail of the processes necessary for the development of the system was made through the implementation of UML diagrams such as: use cases, activities, sequence, classes and entity-relationship; these being the necessary tools for the person in charge of programming or developing the system.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn la actualidad toda institución requiere de agilidad en todos los procesos que lleva a cabo, por lo cual, el presente estudio tuvo lugar en una unidad educativa del cantón Montalvo, donde se requiere mayor rapidez a la hora de registrar matrículas y notas académicas pertenecientes a los estudiantes de dicha institución, la propuesta establecida para el plantel educativo es la de facilitar y agilizar el trabajo dentro del departamento de secretaría, la forma más adecuada para hacerlo exitosamente es mediante un sistema de gestión académica propio dentro de la unidad educativa, pero no se puede desarrollar un software sin haber realizado posteriormente un estudio centrando en el diseño del mismo, por lo cual, el punto de partida para obtener un diseño de software correcto y de calidad es, a través, del análisis de requisitos tanto funcionales como no funcionales, por lo tanto, la metodología de investigación utilizada fue de tipo cualitativo; técnica de entrevista mediante el uso de un cuestionario de preguntas abiertas; el detalle de los procesos necesarios para el desarrollo del sistema se lo realizó mediante la implementación de diagramas UML como son: casos de uso, actividades, secuencia, clases y entidad-relación; siendo estas las herramientas necesarias para la persona encargada de la programación o desarrollo del sistema.es_ES
