| dc.description | The summary of the present case study consists of carrying out a connectivity analysis in the “General Vernaza” Educational Unit, which is located in the General Vernaza Parish belonging to the Salitre canton, to verify the shortcomings that are occurring in the connectivity of the Educational Unit. "General Vernaza" and thus propose alternative solutions that allow the optimal functioning of the established network. The “General Vernaza” Educational Unit, like many other educational institutions, has a computer network with internet access that benefits both students and teachers and administrative staff. This network is presenting connectivity problems, which is why a exhaustive analysis of the established network system. Where it could be verified that said institution does not have an adequate infrastructure, it also does not have adequate maintenance to protect the equipment from the environment they face every day, and it was observed that the equipment installed does not meet the necessary characteristics to offer a service to the number of devices that require access to the network. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El resumen del presente estudio de caso consiste en realizar un análisis de conectividad en la Unidad Educativa “General Vernaza” que se encuentra ubicada en la Parroquia General Vernaza perteneciente al cantón Salitre, para verificar las falencias que están ocurriendo en la conectividad de la Unidad Educativa “General Vernaza” y de ésta manera proponer alternativas de solución que permitan el funcionamiento óptimo de la red establecida. La Unidad Educativa “General Vernaza” al igual que muchas otras instituciones educativas cuenta con una red de computadoras con acceso a internet que beneficia tanto a estudiantes como profesores y personal administrativo, esta red está presentando problemas de conectividad, razón por la cual se realizó un exhaustivo análisis del sistema de red establecido. Donde se pudo verificar que dicha institución no posee una infraestructura adecuada, además no cuenta con el mantenimiento adecuado que proteja los equipos del medio ambiente al que se enfrentan día a día, además se observó que los equipos instalados no cumplen con las características necesarias para ofrecer un servicio a la cantidad de dispositivos que requieren el acceso a la red. | es_ES |
