dc.description.abstractEl presente caso de estudio narra las problemáticas que se desarrollan en los pequeños negocios familiares, y hace énfasis en la Ferretería "Romero" ubicada en la parroquia Isla de Bejucal del cantón Baba provincia de Los Ríos, a través de la aplicación de la metodología descriptiva y bibliográfica, para detallar diversas situaciones que surgen dentro de la compañía y con su debida sustentación teórica, se considera que el origen del problema, radica en que la persona que ocupa el cargo de administrador, no posee estudios de tercer nivel, ejerce una administración empírica, que permite obtener determinado margen de utilidades, pero tiene un déficit en la dirección de actividades, su pronóstico de ventas en base a experiencias, también carece de estrategias publicitarias para dar a conocer sus productos a los sectores aledaños de la parroquia, y no tiene alianzas estratégicas con proveedores que aporten al crecimiento y expansión de la empresaes_ES
