dc.descriptionThe present clinical case is aimed at an 88-year-old male patient who attends the emergency at the General Babahoyo hospital for presenting a clinical picture characterized by respiratory distress, cough with bloody mucus production, acute chest pain, fatigue, sweating, and family. The patient says he has night sweats and a lack of appetite that he cannot explain. Presented as a history of Lung Cancer, it has a CT scan of the lung where carcinomas of small sizes located in the central region of both lungs were observed. With the data obtained from the clinical examination of the patient and the tests performed, it was concluded that the definitive diagnosis is Pneumonia plus Lung Cancer. This clinical case has the purpose of knowing what are the possibilities that these people may have to improve their life; at the same time of the need that they have to know how to lead an integrative life to society, that is why I am going to understand the importance of this study since if we give these people the due care and what factors produce this disease they can become aware and set up a list of actions to prevent this type of disease that is taking lives every day and leaving great pain to his family. The objective of this study is to know the screening tests currently available for the diagnosis of Lung Cancer to begin with the appropriate treatment.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso clínico se orienta a paciente de sexo masculino de 88 años que asiste a emergencia del hospital General Babahoyo por presentar cuadro clínico caracterizado por dificultad respiratoria, tos con producción de moco sanguinolento, dolor agudo en el pecho, fatiga, sudoración, además familiar del paciente refiere que tiene sudores nocturnos y una falta de apetito que no puede explicar. Presenta como antecedente Cáncer de Pulmón, tiene una tomografía computarizada de pulmón en donde se observó carcinomas de tamaños pequeños localizados en la región central de ambos pulmones. Con los datos que se obtuvieron de la exploración clínica del paciente y de las pruebas que se le realizo se llegó a la conclusión que el diagnóstico definitivo es una Neumonía más Cáncer de pulmón. Este caso clínico tiene el fin de conocer cuáles son las posibilidades que pueden tener estas personas de mejorar su vida; a la vez de la necesidad que tienen de conocer cómo llevar una vida integradora a la sociedad, por ello le voy la importancia de este estudio ya que si le damos a conocer a estas personas el debido cuidado y que factores producen esta enfermedad pueden tomar conciencia y poner en marcha una lista de acciones para prevenir este tipo de enfermedad que día a día está cobrado vidas y dejando un gran dolor a su familia. El objetivo de este estudio es conocer los exámenes de detección disponibles actualmente para el diagnóstico del Cáncer del pulmón para empezar con el tratamiento adecuado.es_ES
