dc.descriptionThe present case study was developed based on research carried out at the Sertec Computer Center located in the city of Babahoyo, in order to determine what are the reasons why sales levels have been declining for a long time; the qualitative methodology is one that allowed the interpretation of the data collected in this research. As all research must be supported by a sub-line of research, this is no exception, this case study is based on the production and competitiveness sub-line of research, but for a case study and due to the commercial nature of the investigated business, the choice was made for basing ourselves on the competitiveness sub-line since it is a purely commercial business. After an exhaustive study and investigation of all the problems that influence the decrease in sales levels of the Sertec Computer Center, the following results were obtained: the owner of the business in question does not apply any marketing technique, much less a sales technique On the other hand, there is the organizational culture that is not being fully applied, and lastly, that globalization is another delimiter of business income; These are the main problems that influence the income of the owner of the Computer Center and which were duly confirmed in this investigationes_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso de estudio se desarrolló en base a una investigación realizada en el Centro Informático Sertec ubicado en la ciudad de Babahoyo, con el fin de determinar cuáles son las causas por los que los niveles de ventas están disminuyendo desde hace un tiempo atrás; la metodología cualitativa es aquella que permitió la interpretación de los datos recolectados en esta investigación. Como toda investigación debe estar sustentada en una sub línea de investigación esta no es la excepción, este caso de estudio está basado en la sub línea de investigación producción y competitividad, pero para caso de estudio y debido a la índole comercial del negocio investigado se optara por basarnos en la sub línea de competitividad ya que es un negocio netamente comercial. Después de un exhaustivo estudio e investigación de todos los problemas que influyen en el decrecimiento de los niveles de ventas del Centro Informático Sertec se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: el dueño del negocio en mención no aplica ninguna técnica de marketing y mucho menos una técnica de ventas, por otro lado está la cultura organizacional no está siendo aplicada en su cabalidad y por ultimo esta que la globalización es otro delimitante de los ingresos del negocio; estos son los principales problemas que influyen a los ingresos del dueño del Centro Informático y los cuales fueron debidamente confirmados en esta investigaciónes_ES
