| dc.description | The present clinical case is intended to publicize the nursing care process in users with craniocerebral trauma in the emergency area of the Sacred Heart De Jesus Hospital of Quevedo, several nursing diagnoses were used to apply the necessary care according to the patient severity chart and thus achieve a good nursing diagnosis. This case is focused on analyzing the most relevant aspects in an elderly person, who has been affected by a trauma at the level of the skull and lacerations in his body, after having suffered an accident on his motorcycle for being driving in an ethyl state and without Having adequate protection (helmet), he was welcomed by the ambulance and taken to the hospital to the intermediate care area, where he arrives in a deep coma, unconscious and with a 3-point Glasgow scale and shortly proceeds to place an endotracheal tube and connect to a mechanical fan and thus be able to maintain their vital signs, while the procedures are being carried out to refer you to another higher level hospital. Once all the medical and nursing care and interventions have been carried out, he is transferred to the city of Guayaquil by ambulance accompanied by resident doctor and paramedical personnel, in case of any unforeseen events that may occur. | dc.description.abstract | El presente caso clínico tiene la finalidad de dar a conocer el proceso de atención de enfermería en usuarios con traumatismo craneoencefálico en el área de emergencia del Hospital Sagrado Corazón De Jesús de Quevedo, se utilizaron varios diagnósticos de enfermería para así aplicar los cuidados necesarios según el cuadro de severidad del paciente y así lograr un buen diagnóstico de enfermería. Este caso esta enfocado en analizar los aspectos mas relevantes en una persona adulta mayor, que ha sido afectado de un trauma a nivel del cráneo y laceraciones en su cuerpo, después de haber sufrido un accidente en su motocicleta por estar conduciendo en estado etílico y sin tener la protección adecuada (casco), fue acogido por la ambulancia y llevado al hospital al área de cuidados intermedios, donde llega en coma profundo, inconsciente y con una escala de Glasgow de 3 puntos y con brevedad se procede a colocarle tubo endotraqueal y conectar a un ventilador mecánico y así poder mantener sus constantes vitales, mientras se realizan los trámites para referirlo a otro hospital de mayor nivel. Una vez realizado todos los cuidados e intervenciones tanto medicas como de enfermería es trasladado a la ciudad de Guayaquil en ambulancia acompañado de un médico residente y personal de paramédicos, ante cualquier imprevisto que puede suceder. Paciente es recibido por el equipo medico del hospital de especialidades Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón. | es_ES |
