dc.description	The present clinical case is about a young adult of 44 years old, has 2 children, is a lawyer and lives in Babahoyo, says that 5 years ago he was diagnosed with high blood pressure and takes losartan 100mg for treatment; Allergies and surgical history does not present, within the family pathological history the father is hypertensive, patient goes to routine control, does not refer symptoms, takes the medication as the doctor sends him, but does not meet diet or exercise recommendations. Vital signs: Heart rate 80 beats per minute, blood pressure 145/90mmHg, respiratory rate 18 per minute; The comprehensive nutritional assessment is performed and its BMI reflects 26.9kg / m2 overweight with increased cardiovascular risk; The corresponding laboratory tests are performed in which the results reflected hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia and elevated LDL and in the end is diagnosed with dyslipidemia and is sent to the nutrition service for consultation. We proceed to perform the individualized nutritional intervention that will be adjusted to the socioeconomic and cultural level of the patient, the type of diet that will be prescribed will be the DASH diet, which will be divided into 4 meals a day, it is a diet used to prevent and treat hypertension arterial, is characterized by being a diet low in sodium, rich in potassium, low in saturated fat, high in fiber and together with physical activity will improve the lipid profile and blood pressure of the patient. Through the follow-up and monitoring of the patient, considerable weight loss was obtained and their biochemical tests varied favorably.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El presente caso clínico se trata de un adulto joven de 44 años de edad, tiene 2 hijos, es abogado y vive en Babahoyo, refiere que hace 5 años fue diagnosticado con hipertensión arterial y toma losartan de 100mg para su tratamiento, alergias y antecedentes quirúrgicos no presenta, dentro de los antecedentes patológicos familiares el padre es hipertenso; Paciente acude a control de rutina, no refiere síntomas, toma la medicación como el médico le envía, pero no cumple las recomendaciones de dieta ni ejercicio; Signos vitales: frecuencia cardiaca 80 latidos por minuto, tensión arterial 145/90mmHg, frecuencia respiratoria 18 por minutos; Se le realiza la valoración integral nutricional y su IMC reflejo 26.9kg/m2 sobrepeso con riesgo cardiovascular incrementado; Se le realiza los exámenes de laboratorios correspondientes en los que los resultados reflejaron hipertrigliceridemia, hipercolesterolemia y LDL elevado, al final es diagnosticado con Dislipidemia y es enviado a interconsulta al servicio de nutrición. Se procede a realizar la intervención nutricional individualizada que se ajustará al nivel socioeconómico y cultural del paciente, el tipo de dieta que se prescribirá será la dieta DASH, que será fraccionada en 4 comidas al día, esta es una alimentación usada para prevenir y tratar la hipertensión arterial, se caracteriza por ser una dieta baja en sodio, rica en potasio, baja en grasas saturadas, alta en fibra y conjuntamente con la actividad física va mejorar el perfil lipídico y la tensión arterial del paciente. A través del seguimiento y monitoreo que se le realizo al paciente, se obtuvo una pérdida de peso considerable y sus exámenes bioquímicos variaron de manera favorable.	es_ES
