dc.description.abstract	Es interesante evaluar que en pleno siglo xxi con todo el alcance tecnológico y ventajas que existen frente a la radio los ecuatorianos aun conserven aparatos de trasmisión radial y sintonicen las diferentes emisoras que estos tienen, ya se para informarse, escuchar música, deportes, programas de opinión lo cual es irónico porque actualmente existe los medios audiovisuales que ofrecen imágenes en vivo, entretenimiento para todos las edades, esta misma tecnología con todo la sofisticación no ha podido aun desaparecer las ondas de radiación electromagnética que conservan aún una buena aceptación por jóvenes y mayores en los hogares y que está muy lejos que esto termine porque la radio ha podido y ha sabido adaptarse al nuevo siglo y a los retos que estos conllevan. Sin duda que los nuevos avances tecnológicos tienen la capacidad de llegar y captar la atención del consumidor, pero la radio no se queda atrás su capacidad de análisis y dirigirse a todo el público de la nueva generación y la antigua que no se adapta a la tecnología es primordial, las frecuencias internacionales se han funcionado de manera estratégica con la tecnología otras frecuencias radiales y televisivas para brindar información eficaz acorde a las expectativas del radioyente que busca aun en la radio lo que no encuentra en la televisión satelital o en los teléfonos inteligentes como se le suele denominar.
