dc.description	Interconnectivity is the communication of two or more networks connected to each other. The protection of data is of vital importance, since it depends on the execution of the tasks of each of the departments that make up the institution, which should always be safe and feasible information, The Municipal GAD of the Baba Canton is one of The oldest cantons in the Province of Los Ríos, is an entity that belongs to the public sector, with administrative and financial autonomy, this institution is made up of twelve departments, which are technologically interconnected so there is no effective and safe communication of the information that is generated in the units that make up the GAD Baba. Currently, every organization has an Information Network infrastructure and is known as ICT, in terms of the topology used in the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Baba canton is a Tree type. The distribution of the equipment and terminals is determined thanks to a switch, from which cable branches come out. The wiring used is UTP category 5 and 6, its installation does not have conduits, distributed for the 12 terminals that have the Windows 7 operating system. The Nmap tool was applied to identify the threats and vulnerabilities that exist, within the threats found in the institution, it is found that the network is not in accordance with the quality standards established to protect the information circulating through that medium . Three security policies that are under approval analysis have been identified, managed by the Information Security Management. After the policy was implemented, a new evaluation was carried out to determine if the policy has been helpful in mitigating the problems encountered through the proposed scenarios	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La interconectividad es la comunicación de dos o más redes conectadas entre sí. La protección de datos es de vital importancia, ya que de ella depende la ejecución de las tareas de cada uno de los departamentos que conforman la institución, la cual debe ser siempre una información segura y factible, El GAD Municipal del Cantón Baba es uno de los cantones más antiguos de la Provincia de Los Ríos, es una entidad que pertenece al sector público, con autonomía administrativa y financiera, esta institución está conformada por doce departamentos, los cuales están interconectados tecnológicamente por lo cual no existe una comunicación eficaz y segura de la información que se genera en las unidades que conforman el GAD Baba. Actualmente toda organización cuenta con una infraestructura de Red Informática y se las conoce como TIC, en cuanto a la topología que se utiliza en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Baba es de tipo de Árbol. La distribución de los equipos y terminales es determinada gracias a un switch, del cual salen ramificaciones de cable. El cableado que se utiliza es UTP categoría 5 y 6 su instalación no presenta canaletas, distribuido para las 12 terminales que cuentan con el sistema operativo Windows 7. Se procedió a aplicar la herramienta Nmap tal para identificar las amenazas y vulnerabilidades que existen , dentro de las amenazas encontradas en la institución , se encuentra que la red no se está acorde con los estándares de calidad establecidos para resguardar la información que circula por ese medio. Se han identificado tres políticas de seguridad que está en análisis de aprobación, gestionada por la Gerencia de la Seguridad de la Información. Luego implementada la política se realizó una nueva evaluación para determinar si la política ha sido de ayuda para mitigar los problemas encontrados a través de los escenarios planteados	es_ES
