dc.description	The performance of structured cabling implemented in the Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Provincial De Los Ríos (GAD Los Ríos) was evaluated, with the application of field tests using the cmd, iperf and jperf tools, an interview and an observation that allowed the networks and the level of data traffic that reaches the users of the institution. In contrast, the theory of livelihood and the data reached and determined: the scheduled maintenance wiring which affects its efficiency, poor hardware is used that produces anomalies and unsatisfactory performance. The performance of data transmission from the PS3-DT1 server to different points of the building small changes in latency and bandwidth with the client points in: mezzanine, ground floor, second and third floor	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Se evaluó el desempeño del cableado estructurado implementado en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Provincial De Los Ríos (GAD Los Ríos), con la aplicación de pruebas de campo utilizando las herramientas cmd, iperf e jperf, una entrevista y una observación las que permitieron constatar el comportamiento de las redes y el nivel de tráfico de datos que llega a los usuarios de la institución. Se contrastó la teoría de sustento y los datos alcanzados y determinó que: el cableado carece de mantenimiento programado lo que afecta su eficiencia, se usa hardware deficiente que produce anomalías y rendimiento insatisfactorio. El desempeño de la transmisión de datos desde el servidor PS3-DT1 a diferentes puntos del edificio mostró pequeñas variaciones de latencia y ancho de banda con los puntos clientes en: mezzanine, planta baja, segundo y tercer piso	es_ES
