dc.description	Forests worldwide have been attacked by man-made activities, displacing flora and fauna for years without measuring the consequences for both the environment and other living things, including man. For years the indiscriminate exploitation of trees used for construction and industry, or to give rise to the expansion of cities, roads, airports, among others, has been carried out. In the parish, in general terms, the soil is in good condition, mainly in the high areas where there is more vegetation, while in the lower area by the irrigation systems of the CEDEGE Canal and fertilization by farmers there are places where this Resource is optimal as well as there are sectors that have been deteriorating due to the bad practice of agriculture. The rational management of these depends only on farmers and ranchers, for reforestation with native species. There is still much to know about breeding cycles, ecological requirements and conditions for proper management of plantations in pastures in most native species, more studies applied in this regard should be performed to give a solid basis to any silvopastoral program. The current trend in the country is to approach towards a Sustainable Forest Management aimed at the multiple use of the forest, ensuring that its structure and functionality is not diminished and therefore the capacity to provide goods and services. A forest ecosystem ordered in this way will provide wood on a sustainable basis and will continue to offer other wood products such as firewood and coal; at the same time, you can contribute with NTFPs such as fibers, dyes, resins, gums, tannins, food, fodder, among others; and will maintain its function as regards the preservation of biodiversity, soil protection, contributing to hydrological regulation and climate change	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Los bosques a nivel mundial han sido atacados por las actividades realizadas por el hombre, desplazando la flora y fauna durante años sin medir las consecuencias tanto para el medio ambiente y demás seres vivos, entre ellos el hombre. Durante años se ha realizado la explotación indiscriminada de árboles usados para la construcción e industria, o para dar lugar a la expansión de ciudades, carreteras, aeropuertos, entre otros. En la parroquia, en términos generales, el suelo se encuentra en buenas condiciones, principalmente en las zonas altas donde hay mayor vegetación, mientras que en la zona baja por los sistemas de riego del Canal CEDEGE y fertilización por parte de agricultores existen lugares donde este recurso es óptimo, así como también existen sectores que se han ido deteriorando debido a la mala práctica de la agricultura. El manejo racional de los mismos sólo depende de los agricultores y ganaderos, para la reforestación con especies nativas. Falta mucho aun conocer sobre ciclos de reproducción, requisitos ecológicos y condiciones para un adecuado manejo de las plantaciones en los potreros en la mayoría de las especies nativas, más estudios aplicados al respecto deben de ser realizados para dar una base sólida a cualquier programa silvopastoril. La tendencia actual en el país es aproximarse hacia un Manejo Forestal Sostenible encaminado al uso múltiple del bosque, asegurando que no se disminuya su estructura y funcionalidad y por ende la capacidad de provisión de bienes y servicios. Un ecosistema forestal ordenado de esta manera proveerá de madera sobre una base sostenible y continuará ofreciendo otros productos madereros como leña y carbón; al mismo tiempo podrá aportar con PFNM como fibras, tintes, resinas, gomas, taninos, alimentos, forrajes, entre otros; y mantendrá su función en cuanto a la preservación de la biodiversidad, protección del suelo, aportando en la regulación hidrológica y al cambio climático.
