dc.description	The present investigation on the Integrated Management of whiteflies (Bemisia tabaci) as virus vector pests in various vegetable crops, aims to gather information on the biology and behavior of the whitefly that have the ability to transmit viruses to plants and in order to describe the strategies that have proven to be more effective and sustainable for the Integrated Management of this species. The information provided in this research is the result of experiences and research work carried out by researchers and agricultural extensionists from all over the world where they present themselves with Bemisia tabaci and the way they have managed their Integrated Management. And primarily, results of research conducted in the province of Los Ríos are focused. All this work in order to provide a contribution to the area of Organic Agriculture of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, where students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences conduct their training and experimental research practices	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación sobre el Manejo Integrado de moscas blancas (Bemisia tabaci) como plagas vectores de virus en varios cultivos de hortalizas, tiene como objetivo recopilar información sobre la biología y comportamiento de la mosca blanca que tienen la capacidad de transmitir virus a las plantas y con el fin de describir las estrategias que han demostrado ser más efectivas y sostenible para el Manejo Integrado de esta especie. La información suministrada en la presente investigación es el resultado de experiencias y trabajos investigativos realizadas por investigadores y extensionistas agrícolas de todo el mundo donde se presentan de Bemisia tabaci y la forma como han llevado el Manejo Integrado de estas. Y de manera primordial se focalizan resultados de investigaciones realizadas en la provincia de Los Ríos. Todo este trabajo con el fin de brindar un aporte al área de Agricultura Orgánica de la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias, donde estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias realizan sus prácticas de investigación formativa y experimental	es_ES
