| dc.description | SUMMARY San Isidro is a clearly agricultural and livestock parish since its foundation on April 23, 1898, people have deep roots in the feeling of belonging to the land and faith by their patron San Isidro Labrador. (specific objectives) When a few decades ago this land was very prosperous thanks to the cultivation of wheat, achieving with this important achievements at the level of collective and personal development by farmers who saw in the grain of gold the opportunity to grow economically, So much was the importance of this culture that the parish was considered the granary of the Carchi, in the frame of reference is with some key concepts as well as the great Christian faith is corroborated, which made the inhabitants feel the commitment to give back in something blessings that were receiving and parties were held in honor of the abundant wheat harvests that until 1999 merged with the parochialization of San Isidro, now every parade and float that decorate for any holiday is always present symbolically the image of the wheat next to the parish by its presence in the shield of the parroquia and together with their religious patron San Isidro Labrador who always carries with him an ear of wheat in his hand, applying the proposed methodology we can gather information with which we can „not deny that historically wheat is and will be very important in economic, cultural life and social of the parish of San Isidro, canton Espejo, province of Carchi. In the results it is determined that the influence of wheat cultivation in the economic, social and cultural history of the Parish of San Isidro, Cantón Espejo, Provincia del Carchi had a lot of weight that until today are still very important lags. | dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN San Isidro es una parroquia netamente agrícola y ganadera desde su fundación el 23 de abril de 1898, las personas tienen muy arraigado el sentimiento de pertenencia a la tierra y la fe por su patrono San Isidro Labrador. (objetivos específicos) Cuando hace unas décadas atrás esta tierra fue muy prospera gracias al cultivo de trigo, logrando con esto importantes logros a nivel de desarrollo colectivo y personal por parte de los agricultores que vieron en el grano de oro la oportunidad para crecer económicamente, tanto así fue la importancia de este cultivo que la parroquia fue considerada como el granero del Carchi, en el marco referencial se encuentra con algunos conceptos clave así como se corrobora la gran la fe cristiana, que hizo que los habitantes sientan el compromiso de retribuir en algo las bendiciones que estaban recibiendo y se realizaron fiestas en honor a las abundantes cosechas de trigo que hasta el año 1999 se fusionaron junto con las fiestas de parroquialización de San Isidro, en la actualidad todo desfile y carro alegórico que decoran para alguna festividad siempre está presente simbólicamente la imagen del trigo junto a la parroquia mediante su presencia en el escudo de la parroquia y junto a su patrono religioso San Isidro Labrador quien siempre lleva consigo una espiga de trigo en su mano, aplicando la metodología planteada podemos recabar información con la cual no podemos negar que históricamente el trigo es y será muy importante en la vida económica, cultural y social de la parroquia de San isidro, cantón Espejo, provincia del Carchi. En los resultados se determina que la influencia del cultivo de trigo en la historia económica, social y cultural de la Parroquia San Isidro, Cantón Espejo, Provincia del Carchi tuvo mucho peso que hasta en la actualidad siguen rezagos muy importantes.
