SUMMARY The present work of research on "Positive effects of chemical and organic elicitors in the control of downy mildew (Peronóspora sp) in the cultivation of pea (Pisum sativum L.) variety Quantun" is based on a solid referential frame since there is a lot of information which supports the same, starting with the documentary research which was carried out using recent and highly relevant sources to be clear about the concepts and use the terminology correctly. It is based on a field work carried out jointly with the farmers, which gives strength to the information collected since it is as real as possible within the conditions in which the farmers develop daily, the empirical knowledge about certain techniques they carry out for control pests and diseases, are of vital importance because in conjunction with the technique they become a powerful tool to grow the products better. The benefits obtained by including eliciting products in the implementation of crops and by using them from the early stages of the plants are quantitatively and qualitatively identified, because the self-defense system integrated naturally in the plants is activated in a natural way and with this avoid getting sick continuously or be attacked by pests typical of each crop, in the case of the pea variety Quantum was able to show some positive effects on its physiological structure, as in its resistance to the problems that commonly attack it, the quality The work presented will serve as a point of support to achieve a change in the mindset of the farmers and will lead to more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices, while at the same time contributing to the socio-economic development of the community of Cumbaltar where I do the research. RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación sobre “Efectos positivos de elicitores químicos y orgánicos en el control de mildiu velloso (Peronóspora sp) en el cultivo de arveja (Pisum sativum L.) Variedad Quantum” se basa en un sólido marco referencial ya que existe mucha información que avala el mismo, empezando por la investigación documental la cual se realizó utilizando fuentes recientes y de gran relevancia para tener claro los conceptos y utilizar la terminología de manera correcta. Se base en un trabajo de campo realizado en conjunto con los agricultores lo cual da fortaleza a la información recabada ya que es lo más real posible dentro de las condiciones en las cuales se desarrollan diariamente los agricultores, los conocimientos empíricos sobre ciertas técnicas que realizan para controlar plagas y enfermedades, son de vital importancia porque en conjunto con la técnica se vuelven una poderosa herramienta para cultivar de mejor manera los productos. Se identifica de manera cuantitativa y cualitativa los beneficios que se logra al incluir productos elicitores en la implementación de cultivos y al usarlos desde etapas tempranas de las plantas, porque se logra activar de manera natural el sistema de autodefensa integrado naturalmente en las plantas y con esto evitar que se enfermen de forma continua o sean atacadas por plagas propias de cada cultivo, en el caso de la arveja variedad Quantum se logró evidenciar algunos efectos positivos en su estructura fisiológica, como en su resistencia a los problemas que la atacan comúnmente, la calidad del trabajo presentado servirá de punto de apoyo para lograr un cambio de mentalidad en los agricultores y se encaminen en prácticas de cultivo más sustentables y amigables con el medio ambiente, a la vez que se contribuye al desarrollo socio económico de la comunidad de Cumbaltar donde se realizó la investigación.
