This disease produces in cats, death, which does not have the cure, but it is about giving a treatment to the animal so that it can have a better quality of life, since this disease is not contagious for the human being. For this reason it is recommended to carry out a control of the animals with immunostimulants as the measure of the support of the virus affected with this virus. | dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN El Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Felina es de la familia de los virus conocida muy comúnmente como retrovirus, esta es una enfermedad patógena ocasionada por infecciones y que es muy preocupante en la sociedad ya que se lo ve muy frecuentemente en los felinos. Esta enfermedad produce en los gatos la muerte ya que no tiene cura, pero lo que se trata es darle un tratamiento de sostén al animal para que pueda tener una mejor calidad de vida. Por esta razón se recomienda llevar un control periódicamente del animal con inmunoestimulantes como medida de sostén del felino afectado con este virus.
