dc.description	In medicine, cholelithiasis, commonly referred to as gallstones or gallstones, refers to the formation of stones in the bile ducts, especially in the gallbladder. They are accretions of solid materials that can be as small as grains of grit or, sometimes, so large that they occupy the whole vesicle. Most of the calculations are usually of intermediate size, that is, 20 mm or less. These crystals - about 80% - are made up of cholesterol crystals; the rest are black pigmented crystals. Biliary lithiasis is associated with the appearance of gallbladder carcinoma, and its prevention may justify a cholecystectomy or removal of an early gallbladder in the patient suffering from this disease.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	En medicina la colelitiasis, comúnmente se la conoce como cálculos biliares o litiasis biliar, se refiere a la formación de cálculos en la vías biliares, sobre todo en la vesícula biliar. Son acrecencias de materias sólidas que pueden ser tan pequeñas como granos de arenilla o, en ocasiones , tan grandes que ocupan toda la vesícula. La mayor parte, de los calculos suelen ser de tamaño intermedio, es decir, de 20 mm o menos. Estos cristales —cerca de un 80%— están constituidos por cristales de colesterol el resto son cristales pigmentados de color negro. La Litiasis biliar se asocia a la aparición de carcinoma de vesícula biliar, y su prevención puede justificar una colecistectomía o extirpación de vesícula temprana en el paciente que padece esta enfermedad.	es_ES
