dc.descriptionIntroduction: The vocation in nursing and its relation with the performance in the care of the patient is of great importance its analysis taking as reference that the vocation is one of the bases to do what they like, making a synthesis of the subject of study with their international, national and institutional contexts and the scientific bases. Objective: The main objective is to determine how the vocation in nursing is related to the performance in patient care. Method: The inductive method was applied since we worked with hypotheses and antecedents previously studied in a general way, the type of research that is project is field, descriptive and transversal, obtaining a total sample of 59 students. Results: The most relevant result shows that 41% of students decided to study nursing by vocation, while the difference manifests other priorities. Another considerable result is 49% of respondents consider the vocation as a feeling of help. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a considerable percentage of students who do not feel vocation for the profession they study. Since the choice of the career they studied was not chosen on their own initiative, because other factors intervened.es_ES
dc.description.abstractIntroducción: La vocación en enfermería y su relación con el desempeño en los cuidados del paciente es de mucha importancia su análisis tomando como referencia que la vocación es una de las bases para hacer lo que les gusta, realizando una síntesis del tema de estudio con sus contextos internacionales, nacionales e institucionales y las bases científicas. Objetivo: El principal objetivo es determinar de qué manera la vocación en enfermería se relaciona con el desempeño en los cuidados del paciente. Método: Se aplicó el método inductivo ya que se trabajó con hipótesis y antecedentes antes estudiados de manera general, el tipo de investigación que se proyecto es de campo, descriptiva y transversal, obteniendo una muestra total de 59 estudiantes. Resultados: Como resultado más relevante se refleja que el 41% de estudiantes decidió estudiar enfermería por vocación, mientras que la diferencia manifiestan otras prioridades. Otro de los resultados considerables es el 49% de los encuestados considera la vocación como un sentimiento de ayuda. Conclusión: Se concluye que existe un porcentaje considerable de estudiantes la cual no sienten vocación por la profesión que estudian. Ya que la elección de la carrera que estudian no fue elegida por iniciativa propia, debido a que intervinieron otros factores.es_ES
